Well..this started to be a volumetric lighting experiment in Vue.

I was watching the video of this awesome song above, and if you watch the video (highly recommended; great song from a great Hungarian band ...and it's the song's English version so you can understand it

) ...so if you watch the video, you'll see that it takes place in a forest, and there are some scenes with wolves, mist and powerful volumetric light. I liked those scenes so much that I thought it would be good to create something like that, since I've wanted to experiment with volumetric lighting for a while. I sat down and worked my soul out

. That's how the 1st 50% of the image was born....yeah it took a few hours to get this result

. (after at least 4-5 CTDs and loss of some neurons >.<

)...why do the wolves have red eyes and why do they seem to be protecting that grave??? ..good question; I don't know

...after rendering the original scene in Vue, I found the foreground too dark. But since it's dark in the forest, it looked weird with lighter foreground (yeah, I tried it

). As I was staring at the picture, the 1st thing that came to my mind was another surrealistic "underground" scene. That's how this whole picture came out like this.....I know it's weird but forgive me!
