Artist's Comments

I rendered this a few days ago; I just haven't uploaded it because I was not satisfied with the shoreline and the overall setting. But some nice guys at R'osity and C3D made me believe it's not that bad so finally I upload this here too :XD:

I wanted to make a scene with an unusual POV :D
...though I'm still not satisfied with the shoreline...any tips how to set the foam or something?? thx ^^

Lighthouse from C3D

Thanks for viewing! :)

If you double click on the water level you can adjust the settings. Theres more foam when theres more objects in it. Put some rocks along the edge, taht should give you more foam. Looks great!

I like the perspective with the long bridge leading away from the island.

Maybe you could have placed the island more in the bottom left to have a composition that is less centered.

The rocky texture underneath the water looks very good.
You should try to scatter rocks along your shoreline. In the real world a rocky area like this would not fall straight into the water but have lots of small rocks scattered before it.
Check out some real world examples (for instance here: [link]).

Thanks! Pity I don't have normal bridge models :(
