One of my friends shared a great compilation of photos of forest paths..... the article is below, and I guarantee that it will make every landscape artist drool!

So, one of them (not too hard to guess which one) inspired me to make a forest path, and I liked the concept of wooden stairs in a foggy forest. This just turned out to be a little fantasy-like with that small cottage.
The stairs were made in Vue, the wooden texture and the soil was generated in Filter Forge (I used FF for postwork as well), the trunks are really nice rigged models from Laurent Rodriguez, the ground cover is a compination of several SolidGrowth and xFrog plants; trees from xFrog.
