Hello everybody

I just want to update my journal before completely fading into thin air. Believe it or not, I'm still alive and I'm sorry for not being around too much. I don't even have any specific reason to explain my inactivity; I work and practice in Vue like before, I'm trying to learn like before, I'm just kinda more focused on the overall quality of my work (that's why I don't upload every render), and lately I'm also more focused on more 3D/Vue-oriented sites/communities. They're way smaller than dA (yeah, dA is the biggest and most complex art community ), but I get more proper feedback. I love you guys, but right now that's what I need. (though I still can't find any logic in C3D's Cream of the Crop....sorry, I'm not the only one.)
This is what happened in the past weeks:
- A Trip to the Castle was featured at Cornucopia3D, then it was the Picture of the Day at e-on on the 18th www.e-onsoftware.com/showcase/…
- Same with Out of the city; a C3D feature followed by a Picture of the Day on the 27th www.e-onsoftware.com/showcase/…
- Something great I can't talk about right now because it's top secret...yet

Answering the question...
According to my last poll, most of you asked "What the hell is SIGGRAPH?? " Well, SIGGRAPH  (Special Interest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques) is an annual computer graphics conference and exhibition where the great and greatest companies can present their latest motion pictures, softwares, games etc...It's considered the most prestigious forum for the publication of computer graphics research. The companies, schools and art communities set up their booths to present themselves; dA will have its booth too! ...and you have the chance to meet and greet some badass artists in the field
e-on will introduce Vue 8 there with its brand new features; Spectral 3 clouds, 3D terrain sculpting, directional displacement, just to mention some and make you ...and I sooo envy that one person who'll be there!

Today I decided to feature talented 3D artists who have already achieved something (renders in newsletters, Picture of the Day-s, features, C3D focus etc...), still they're less known here just because they don't spam the hell out of the community...I mean they're more "silent". I think they deserve much more attention, their art is exceptional, both technically and artistically. Let's focus on them and let the quality beat quantity.
